Abstract

1,268,887. Edge-runner mills. LOESCHE HARTZERKLEINERUNGS-UND ZEMENTMASCHINEN K.G. 30 April, 1970, No. 20915/70. Heading B2A. A stationary baffle 4 is adjustably arranged above a rotatable platen 1, Fig. 2, which cooperates with stationary runners 2. The baffle is of such a height that fine particles: (e.g. in a boiler fuel feed plant) pass over the baffle with the entraining air, and only the coarser particles fail to pass over and are thus ground between the platen and runners. The baffle 4"', Fig. 7, is pivotally secured at 5 to the case 6 and adjustable by a nut-and-screw arrangement 7.
