Abstract

1,248,765. Reagin preparation. PHARMACIA AB. 3 Sept., 1968 [6 Sept., 1967], No. 3457/71. Divided out of 1,248,764. Heading A5B. [Also in Division B1] Reagin Ig (antibody against allergens) obtained from the serum of a myeloma patient by precipitation and purification on columns of Sephadex (R.T.M.) is characterised by electrophoresis, ultracentrifugation and reduction studies, and its amino acid and carbohydrate composition are given. The reagin is labelled with I<SP>125</SP> or a fluorescent atom or group for use as a reagent (see Group B1-2).
