Abstract

1,113,651. Bin and hopper. CARRIER MANUFACTURING CO. 2 Feb., 1966, No. 4534/66. Heading B8S. The bin 10 is carried elastically from fixed supports 12 by rubber feet 11 and in turn carries hopper 15, being connected thereto by brackets 23 and 16 separated by rubber feet 18. Hopper 15 is vibrated by eccentric mass vibrator 31 which is secured to the outside of the hopper so that hopper and bin are vibrated together out of phase to help discharge material from outlet 19. Outlet 19 is controlled by adjustable cone 20.
