Abstract

1,090,011. Electrostatic separation of seeds. TECHNOIMPEX MAGYAR GEPIPARI KULKERESKEDELMI VALLALET. May 10, 1966, No. 20752/66. Addition to 1,069,270. Heading B2J. [Also in Division A2] In stimulating seeds to increase their germinating power, seeds are supplied by hopper 27 and chute 28 to horizontal table 11 which is vibrated by vibrator 21 such that the seeds are moved over the table 11 and through electric field 42 and discharged into bag 30. The table 11 is supported on springs 15 and 16 on stand 17, the stand being supported on legs 19 and 20. Legs 19 are adjustable in height. Above table 11 is high potential grid 31 around which rotates belt 32, the distance of which from table 11 is adjustable by means of bolts 37 and 38. Seeds which attach themselves to belt 32 are carried off transversely to the main flow 48 and discharged into another bag (not shown).
