Abstract

1,176,004. Fusible cut-outs. KENNETH E. BESWICK Ltd. 6 March, 1968 [6 March, 1967], No. 10519/67. Heading H2G. A cartridge fuse holder comprises a body portion 1 and a carrier 2 which holds a cartridge fuse and, when inserted into body 1 brings the fuse end caps 14 into contact with contact members 12, 13. Carrier 2, which may be made of resilient plastics (nylon) material is inserted with its sides in grooves 17 in body 1 which may be of melamine and is locked in position by turning knob 5 so that one or more lugs 9 move behind end wall 18 of body 1. Body 1 is formed of two parts 10, 11 which hold the contact members 12, 13 between them. A neon lamp may be connected across fuse end caps 14 through a resistor and so that it lights when the fuse blows.
