Abstract

1,072,375. Garage lifts; jacks. HANSEATISCHE INDUSTRIE-BETEILIEUNGEN G.m.b.H. Dec. 17, 1963 [July 4, 1963], No. 49870/63. Headings B8H and B8J. In a garage lift, the load platform 10 is mounted on a cylinder 6 which is movable on a hollow piston rod 7 secured to a cylinder 2 which is suspended below ground level and which constitutes an hydraulic fluid reservoir. Lateral bending forces produced by uneven loading of the load platform are absorbed by a fixed bush 13 which engages a guide tube 11 secured to the lifting platform.
