Description

PORTABLE PUNCHING BAG

The present invention relates to portable punch bags allowing the user to easily transport and set up punching equipment, for example for martial arts training.

The present invention aims to provide a portable and resistant punching bag, which can be quickly placed on a pole or a tree, and easy to transport.

PRIOR ART

Portable punching bags such as that of US patent US9616310 are known which make it possible to position striking equipment on a human wearer, which is worn on the stomach of the wearer, like a bag, thanks to shoulder straps. It is important to effectively maintain the device which is intended to receive blows. For the sake of improving the maintenance of the device when it is in position on the wearer, a belt is proposed for the maintenance of the device by tightening around the belly of the user in addition to the maintenance by the straps, and side handles allow the user to hold the device. This device suffers from not being able to be positioned and used on a non-active carrier, such as a pole or a tree, since the device ends up slipping in the absence of active support by the side handles, and the belt only allows a very wide and limited containment. In addition, this device quickly suffers internal abrasion if it comes into contact with a tree.

The striking device described by the American patent US 9,017,227 is adapted to be fixed on a cylindrical support of the pole type or a tree but only comprises simple removable straps for this purpose. It resists abrasion but only by a rigid panel interfacing the striking element and the support. Its structure therefore makes it particularly unsuitable for transport on the back, since it does not include any suitable means for this, as well as for quick fastening, since the proposed straps are attached and not integrated into a complete set.

The aim of the invention is to overcome at least some of the aforementioned drawbacks and to propose a resistant portable punching bag capable of combining the advantages of speed, simplicity and reliability for its implementation, while remaining easy to transport.

In view of the foregoing, the subject of the invention is a portable punching bag of a punching body having two side faces, an upper face, a lower face, a front face and a rear face, transport means suitable for the transport of said body on the back of a user, said means of transport comprising two shoulder straps hooked on the one hand to two edges of the body located between the upper face and the rear face and on the other hand to the rear face , the transport means being suitable for holding said body on the user's back by being held by the user's shoulders, hooking means extending from one to the other of two edges of the body located between the side faces and the rear face, said attachment means comprising an outer casing having two outer side panels sewn onto each of the two edges of the body located between the rear face and respectively the two side faces, said side panels to the external ones being located between the two shoulder straps, the outer envelope being formed continuously by the two outer side panels and by the rear face, the attachment means further comprising two adjustable straps located respectively in proximal positions of the upper face and of the lower face, the adjustable straps being arranged on either side of the two external side panels, the said attachment means being adapted for the attachment of the striking body on a support of generally cylindrical shape by the gripping of the external envelope around said support thanks to the two adjustable tightening straps, said attachment means further comprising an internal protective envelope comprising three sections including a central section sewn on the rear face and two internal side sections located on either side of the central panel and continuously linked thereto, the internal protective envelope having complementary attachment means es which are specific to it and additionally provided on each of the internal side panels for winding said internal envelope around the generally cylindrical support.

Preferably, the body is filled with expanding foam.

For example, expanded foam includes high density polyethylene.

Advantageously, the complementary attachment means comprise complementary Velcro® strips allowing an adjustable grip of said internal envelope around the generally cylindrical support.

According to one embodiment, the body has the general shape of an L turned over along a lateral section.

In one embodiment, the bag has side pockets formed of elastic nets.

Advantageously, the inner casing comprises an anti-abrasive material.

The portable punching bag may further provide that the hooking means comprise an adjustment buckle arranged on one of the two adjustable straps for enclosing, as well as two distinct complementary bands of Velcro® on the same of the two adjustable straps. tightening, said bands being arranged on either side of said adjustment loop, on the one hand on a portion of said strap and on the other hand at the end of said strap, so as to allow said strap to be held on itself on either side of said adjustment buckle, the attachment means further comprising a metal or plastic buckle into which the strap can be inserted, before the adjustable buckle, for adjusting the tightness of the hooking means on the outer envelope itself around the support.

Preferably, the attachment means comprise an adjustment buckle to which is added a closing clip or a self-locking element for maintaining the attachment means in an attachment position.

The invention also relates to a portable punching bag in which a top handle adapted for one-handed gripping for transport is provided.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES

The illustrates a portable punching bag 1 according to the invention.

The bag comprises a striking body 3 intended to receive blows from a user for his training.

For this purpose, the body 3 can be made in such a way as to have the general shape of an L turned over along a lateral section, which makes it possible, among other things, to carry upward blows of the uppercut type.

The body 3 can be formed of an envelope, for example formed of faux leather, particularly valuable for contact, for its resistance to blows, as well as to perspiration.

The body 3 has two side faces 4, an upper face 6, a lower face 8, a front face 5 and a rear face 7, and it is filled with expanding foam. The foam makes it both light and flexible enough to absorb the impact of hits during training, and dense faux leather is a durable material while being pleasant to the touch for typing.

The expanded foam comprises, for example, high-density polyethylene, which ensures maximum dispersion of shocks during impacts received by the body.

The martial arts that can be practiced on a punching bag always require this bag to be very well fixed.

The most common punching bags require a partner for this purpose and include a harness to help this partner maintain it.

Although it is desirable to be able to train alone, given the fact that the multiplication of rehearsal hours promotes progress, the known bags that are held by a partner are unsuitable for training alone. Indeed, to fix a punching bag, it is not only necessary means adapted to counter the strong impacts received by it, but also that these means minimize the rigid elements protruding around the striking zones, namely the body of the punching bag. hitting, which are likely to injure the user who is training if he were to hit such elements, which is not the case for bags intended to be held by a partner.

Furthermore, the bags which include means of attachment to a support for training alone are not suitable for transport. However, the user wishing to change the training environment, and in particular to go to an outdoor environment, and who may wish to move his punching bag regularly, is required to transport it and to uninstall and reinstall it.

The invention therefore aims to facilitate both the transport and the installation of the punching bag, as well as its good maintenance in position.

As illustrated by the , the bag 1 comprises transport means 9 suitable for transporting the body 3 on the back of a user 100.

The bag may have an upper handle 21 adapted for one-handed gripping for transport, as seen in Figures 1 to 4.

The means of transport 9 comprise two shoulder straps 19. They are therefore suitable for holding said body 3 on the user's back by being held by the user's shoulders.

It is also possible to provide side pockets 40 formed of elastic nets, which makes it possible to easily store or take out small objects, for example bottles of water, like the use of a backpack. These side pockets 40, due to their elasticity, their fineness, and their mesh are thus very discreet, and harmless for the user who trains on the bag 1 by striking the body 3 at the level of these side pockets 40 .

The shoulder straps 19 are hung on the one hand on two edges of the body 3 located between the upper face 6 and the rear face 7 and on the other hand on the rear face 7. As illustrated by the , these positions of the shoulder straps 19 make it possible to release them on the side of the bag 1, near the side faces 4, to hang the bag 1 on a support 101, and therefore to offer a maximum of contact surface between the surface of the rear face 7 and the support 101.

As illustrated by the , it is possible to provide additional central straps 26 linked to the shoulder straps 19 and having hooks 27 to make the transport of the bag 1 on the back even more comfortable, by tightening and holding the straps 19 towards each other.

The bag 1 further comprises hooking means 11 extending from one to the other of two edges of the body 3 located between the side faces 4 and the rear face 7.

First, the attachment means 11 comprise an outer casing 30, visible in use on the , and visible deployed on the .

The outer casing 30 has two outer side panels 31 sewn to each of the two edges of the body 3 located between the rear face 7 and respectively the two side faces 4.

The outer side panels 31 are located between the two shoulder straps 19, namely that, as illustrated by the , these outer side panels 31 are retracted between the rear face 7 and the back of the person carrying the bag 1 on his back by the shoulder straps 19, without protruding laterally.

The outer envelope 30 is formed continuously by the two outer side panels 31 and by the rear face 7, as can be seen particularly in .

This outer envelope 30, cleverly positioned on the body 3, is very easy to fold up or deploy. It can also be made of faux leather for the same qualities of robustness mentioned above.

The deployment of the outer envelope 30 around an obstacle 101 makes it possible to offer a maximum of contact surface with the latter, therefore of maintaining the bag 1 against said support 101 when one wants to use the bag 1, while by having a minimal bulk when you do not want to use the bag for training but to transport it.

The attachment means 11 further comprising two adjustable straps 13 located respectively in proximal positions of the upper face 6 and the lower face 8.

These outer straps 13 surround the outer casing 30 when positioning the bag 1 against a support 101.

To this end, the adjustable straps are arranged on either side of the two outer side panels 31.

It is thus possible to obtain a quick and simple adjustment of the tightness around the obstacle 101, and this for many shapes of this obstacle 101.

The attachment means 11 are suitable for attaching the striking body 3 to a generally cylindrical support 101 by enclosing the outer casing 30 around said support 101 thanks to the two adjustable enclosing straps 13.

Provision can be made, according to one embodiment, to fix the external straps 13, for example by sewing, on the side panels 31.

In addition, these straps 13 can make it possible to maintain the outer envelope 30 retracted against the body 3 as described above, to facilitate transport on the back.

As illustrated by the , the attachment means 11 further comprise an internal protective envelope 32 comprising three sections including a central section 34 sewn to the rear face 7 and two internal side sections 33 located on either side of the central section 34.

The inner protective envelope 32, which serves as an interface between the outer envelope 30 and the support 101, is made of soft spaced-mesh fabric, so as to limit abrasion against said outer envelope.

The internal side panels 33 are continuously linked to the central panel 34. They can for example be formed entirely of the same material as the latter, which is sewn along the two edges of the body 3 located between the side faces 4 and the rear face 7 .

The internal protective envelope 32 has additional attachment means 35,37 which are specific to it.

The complementary attachment means 35,37 of the internal protective casing 32 are additionally provided on each of the internal side panels 35,37, so as to allow the winding of said internal casing 32 around the generally cylindrical support 101, against which said inner casing 32 is directly in contact.

Advantageously, the inner casing 32 therefore comprises an anti-abrasive material, that is to say a material not very conducive to wear by abrasion.

The complementary hooking means 35,37 comprise complementary Velcro® straps allowing an adjustable grip of said internal envelope 32 around the generally cylindrical support 101.

The additional attachment means 35,37 also make it possible to keep the inner envelope 32 closed on itself, which is also a valuable function for the search for compactness when transporting the bag.

The portable punching bag may further comprise the attachment means 11.

As illustrated by the , the attachment means 11 comprise, for example, an adjustment loop 15 placed on one of the two adjustable fastening straps 13, as well as two distinct complementary strips of Velcro® 14 on the same of the two adjustable fastening straps 13 .

The bands 14 are arranged on either side of said adjustment loop 15, on the one hand on a portion of said strap and on the other hand at the end of said strap, so as to allow said strap to be held on it -even on either side of said adjustment loop 15.

This prevents any excess of a portion of strap 13, because an unmaintained strap 13 can lead both to the disruption of the intended tightening of the buckle 15 during the installation of the bag 1, but also the discomfort or the risk of injury of the user hitting the body 3.

The attachment means 11 for example further comprise a metal or plastic loop 17 into which the strap 13 can be inserted, before the adjustable loop 15, for adjusting the tightness of the attachment means 11 on the envelope. external 30 when the latter is itself around the support 101.

In addition, or alternatively, the attachment means 11 may include an adjustment buckle 15 to which is added a closing clip and/or a self-locking element for maintaining the attachment means 11 in an attachment position.

This facilitates the rapid positioning and removal of the bag 1 around the obstacle 101.

A punching bag 1 is thus obtained that is particularly suitable for transporting it and for putting it in place and keeping it in place, in particular on a support, as well as adjusting and uninstalling it. Its general ergonomics make it particularly suitable for outdoor training use, in particular accompanied by walking, since it includes pockets suitable for transporting food and means of transport specifically adapted to allow transport on the back of a hand, and so as not to interfere with training on the other hand.
