Abstract

Ce composant fémoral (1) comprend : - un membre de fixation (2) configuré pour être solidarisé à une tête prothétique de façon à articuler le composant fémoral (1) dans une cavité acétabulaire, - un col (4) s'étendant à partir du membre de fixation (2), le col (4) ayant une portion proximale de col (6) et une portion distale de col (8), la portion distale de col (8) étant plus large que la portion proximale de col (6), et - une tige fémorale (10) qui est solidaire de la portion distale de col (8). La portion distale de col (8) présente au moins : i) un évidement médial (11) et ii) un évidement latéral (12). L'évidement médial (11) et l'évidement latéral (12) sont chacun configuré pour guider un ancillaire de coupe destiné à couper du tissu osseux entourant la tige fémorale (10).
