Abstract

Endoprótesis de refuerzo para su utilización en un hueso de fémur reseccionado tanto en el lado de la articulación de la cadera como también en el lado de la articulación de la rodilla, con una parte de vástago (1) de una articulación artificial de la cadera, así como con una parte de cóndilo (2) de una articulación artificial de la rodilla, en la que la parte de unión (3) entre la parte de vástago (1) y la parte de cóndilo (2) está formada por un clavo medular compuesto de dos partes y situado en posición intramedular, siendo una parte del clavo medular un clavo medular macizo (4) con una prolongación roscada y con una rosca (5) realizada en ella, y siendo la otra parte del clavo medular un clavo medular hueco (6) con rosca interior (7), que coincide con la rosca (5) de la primera parte, pudiendo ser desplazada sobre la rosca (5), con lo cual se puede ajustar la longitud de la endoprótesis, caracterizada porque la parte de unión (3) tiene contornos rotativoasimétricos.
