Abstract

Colonne de direction à réglage d'extension longitudinale et d'inclinaison du volant comprenant un manchon (4) porté par un palier déformable (2) muni d'un mécanisme de serrage composé d'un axe de serrage (51). Le palier déformable (2) a deux branches latérales (21) reliées par une traverse formée de deux facettes inclinées (22) réunies par un fond (23). Les deux branches latérales (21) forment chacune un premier appui latéral (7a, 7b) près de l'extrémité de la branche (21) et les deux facettes inclinées (22) forment chacune un deuxième appui latéral incliné (7c, 7d) et à l'opposé des premiers appuis latéraux (7a, 7b), le fond (23) formant un appui intermédiaire (7e) entre les deux appuis latéraux inclinés (7c, 7d). L'axe de serrage (51) traverse l'extrémité des deux branches latérales (21) au-delà des deux premiers appuis latéraux (7a, 7b).
