Abstract
L'invention concerne un Procédé de fabrication d'un matériau fibreux pré-imprégné comprenant un matériau fibreux en fibres continues et au moins une matrice polymère thermoplastique, caractérisé en ce que ledit matériau fibreux préimprégné est réalisé en un ruban unique unidirectionnel ou en une pluralité de rubans parallèles unidirectionnels et en ce que ledit procédé comprend une étape d'imprégnation, en particulier à cœur, dudit matériau fibreux se présentant sous forme d'une mèche ou de plusieurs mèches parallèles par ledit polymère thermoplastique se présentant sous forme de poudre, ladite étape d'imprégnation étant effectuée avec ledit au moins un polymère thermoplastique et ledit matériau fibreux dont le rapport D90/D10 en volume des particules de polymère thermoplastique est compris de 1,5 à 50, en particulier de 2 à 10 et le rapport du diamètre moyen en volume (D50) des particules de polymère thermoplastique sur le diamètre moyen des fibres unitaires dudit matériau fibreux est compris de 3 à 40, à l'exclusion d'un procédé d'imprégnation en suspension aqueuse d'un matériau fibreux constitué de fibres de carbone par un polymère thermoplastique et à l'exclusion de tout procédé électrostatique en charge volontaire.
