Abstract

La présente invention concerne les polymères thermoplastiques modifiés au moyen de copolymères à blocs acryliques fonctionnalisés par des monomères hydrophiles. L'invention a pour objet un mélange de polymères, comprenant, comme polymère-hôte, un matériau thermoplastique qui contient des segments souples de type polyéther ou polyester, et au moins un copolymère à blocs acrylique, dispersé dans ledit polymère-hôte et miscible avec celui-ci, ledit copolymère à blocs comportant au moins un monomère hydrophile. Les matériaux thermoplastiques modifiés selon l'invention maintiennent de très bonnes propriétés de transparence et acquièrent de plus des propriétés nouvelles, notamment mécaniques, comme une meilleure tenue mécanique à l'état fondu lors des opérations de transformation propres aux matériaux thermoplastiques, telles que les opérations d'extrusion, de soufflage ou de calandrage.
