Claims (4)

RESUME DE L'INVENTION L'invention vise à réaliser un engin roulant dont le châssis peut recevoir, indifféremment, soit une cuve et une benne, soit la cuve principale et une cuve 30 auxiliaire se substituant à la benne. Elle concerne à cet effet un engin roulant du type en question qui se caractérise essentiellement en ce qu'une cuve auxiliaire, qui comporte des moyens adaptés pour permettre sa fixation amovible aux moyens, solidaires du châssis, servant également au verrouillage de la benne, est positionnée au lieu et place de l'ensemble " benne - unité de distribution de gravillons " et en ce que la cuve auxiliaire est reliée à la cuve principale pour constituer un engin roulant fonctionnant en épandeur de liant seul de grande capacité. Selon deux réalisations particulières de l'invention: - la cuve auxiliaire est reliée à la cuve principale par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit hydraulique passant par le moyen de pompage et la rampe de diffusion de liant; - la cuve auxiliaire est reliée à la cuve principale par l'intermédiaire, d'une part, d'un circuit hydraulique passant par le moyen de pompage et la rampe de diffusion de 10 liant et, d'autre part, d'une canalisation à niveau constant. Dans le premier cas, la cuve auxiliaire sert à alimenter la cuve principale en utilisant le même moyen de pompage et le moyen de préchauffage du liant contenu dans la cuve principale. Dans le deuxième cas, les deux cuves communiquent en permanence par la 15 canalisation à niveau constant et une circulation de liant est établie entre les deux cuves, via le moyen de pompage commun, pour obtenir une température uniforme du liant dans les deux cuves. Un deuxième moyen de pompage, associé à une canalisation spécifique reliant les deux cuves, peut être mis en oeuvre pour assurer la fonction de circulation du liant 20 entre les deux cuves. PRESENTATION DES FIGURES Les caractéristiques et les avantages de l'invention vont apparaître plus clairement à la lecture de la description détaillée qui suit d'au moins un mode de réalisation préféré de celle-ci donné à titre d'exemple non limitatif et représenté aux 25 dessins annexés. Sur ces dessins: - la figure 1 est une vue en élévation d'un engin roulant équipé pour épandre du liant et des gravillons; - la figure 2 est une vue en élévation du même véhicule équipé pour épandre 30 seulement du liant avec remplacement de la benne par une cuve auxiliaire; - la figure 3 est un schéma hydraulique d'un véhicule équipé selon la configuration de la figure 2. DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTION L'engin roulant représenté aux figures est du genre comportant: a) une rampe de diffusion de liant (1) alimentée par une cuve de stockage (2) via un moyen de pompage (3); ladite cuve (2) étant pourvue d'un moyen de préchauffage du liant qu'elle contient; lesdits sous-ensembles (1), (2) et (3) étant solidaires du châssis roulant (6) de l'engin; b) une unité de distribution de gravillons (4) alimentée par une benne basculante (5); ladite unité de distribution étant solidaire de ladite benne; ledit ensemble (4,5) comportant des moyens (7) destinés à se fixer à des moyens de verrouillage (8), appartenant au châssis (6), et adaptés pour rendre ledit ensemble amovible par rapport audit châssis. Selon la caractéristique de base de l'invention, une cuve auxiliaire (9), qui comporte des moyens (10) adaptés pour permettre sa fixation amovible aux moyens de verrouillage (8) du châssis (6), est positionnée au lieu et place de l'ensemble (4,5) et est reliée à la cuve principale (2) pour constituer un engin roulant fonctionnant en épandeur de liant seul. Selon deux variantes de réalisation et de fonctionnement hydraulique de l'invention: a) la cuve auxiliaire (9) est reliée à la cuve principale (2) par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit hydraulique passant par le moyen de pompage (3) et la rampe (1); b) la cuve auxiliaire (9) est reliée à la cuve principale (2) par l'intermédiaire, d'une part, d'un circuit hydraulique passant par le moyen de pompage (3) et la rampe (1) 20 et, d'autre part, d'une canalisation (11) à niveau constant. Pour permettre le fonctionnement de l'ensemble selon les deux variantes susmentionnées: - la liaison hydraulique entre la cuve principale (2) et la pompe (3) est pourvue d'une vanne (12); - la liaison hydraulique entre la cuve auxiliaire (9) et la pompe (3) est pourvue d'une vanne (13); - la liaison hydraulique de retour entre la rampe (1) et la cuve (2) comporte une vanne (14). Les vannes (12) et (13) assurent l'extraction du liant respectivement des cuves (2) 30 et (9) qui est transmis vers la rampe (1) pour être: - soit épandu sur la chaussée au travers des diffuseurs équipant ladite rampe: vanne (14) fermée; - soit recyclé vers la cuve (2) : diffuseurs fermés et vanne (14) ouverte. Un deuxième moyen de pompage, associé à une canalisation spécifique reliant les deux cuves, peut être mis en òuvre pour assurer la fonction de circulation du liant entre les deux cuves. Les cuves (2) et (3) peuvent avoir diverses capacités comme par exemple 3 500 litres pour la cuve principale (fixe) et 5 000 litres pour la cuve auxiliaire (amovible). Les moyens de verrouillage (7,8) et (10,8) peuvent être du type " twist lock" couramment utilisé pour fixer les containers et placés aux quatre coins de la zone du châssis réceptrice. Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée aux modes de réalisation décrits et 10 représentés pour lesquels on pourra prévoir d'autres variantes, en particulier dans: - le type et les capacités de cuves utilisées; - le type et le nombre de canalisations et de vannes utilisées dans le circuit hydraulique d'ensemble; - le type de moyens de fixation de la cuve auxiliaire et de la benne sur le châssis à 15 partir du moment o ils sont interchangeables. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The rolling vehicle shown in the figures is of the type comprising: a) a binder diffusion ramp (1) supplied by a storage tank (2) via a pumping means (3); said tank (2) being provided with means for preheating the binder which it contains; said sub-assemblies (1), (2) and (3) being integral with the rolling chassis (6) of the machine; b) a gravel distribution unit (4) supplied by a tilting skip (5); said distribution unit being integral with said bucket; said assembly (4,5) comprising means (7) intended to be fixed to locking means (8), belonging to the chassis (6), and adapted to make said assembly removable with respect to said chassis. According to the basic characteristic of the invention, an auxiliary tank (9), which comprises means (10) adapted to allow its removable fixing to the locking means (8) of the chassis (6), is positioned instead of the assembly (4,5) and is connected to the main tank (2) to constitute a rolling machine operating as a spreader of binder alone. According to two alternative embodiments and hydraulic operation of the invention: a) the auxiliary tank (9) is connected to the main tank (2) via a hydraulic circuit passing through the pumping means (3) and the ramp (1); b) the auxiliary tank (9) is connected to the main tank (2) by means of, on the one hand, a hydraulic circuit passing through the pumping means (3) and the ramp (1) 20 and, on the other hand, a pipe (11) at constant level. To allow operation of the assembly according to the two above-mentioned variants: - the hydraulic connection between the main tank (2) and the pump (3) is provided with a valve (12); - The hydraulic connection between the auxiliary tank (9) and the pump (3) is provided with a valve (13); - the hydraulic return link between the ramp (1) and the tank (2) comprises a valve (14). The valves (12) and (13) extract the binder respectively from the tanks (2) 30 and (9) which is transmitted to the ramp (1) to be: - either spread on the roadway through diffusers equipping said ramp: valve (14) closed; - either recycled to the tank (2): diffusers closed and valve (14) open.
