Abstract

An axial spring (61) pushes the support onto the driving element and its compression determines the tool release torque. A torque adjusting handle (7) rotates on the body to activate the spring compression nut (47). It comprises a first toothed crown wheel (41) fixed to the body and a second complementary toothed crown wheel (43) fixed to rotate with the handle. The second crown wheel can slide axially between an engaged position meshing with the first crown wheel and a disengaged position. The second crown wheel is returned to the engaged position by an axial return spring (45). The dynamometer spanner comprises a driving element, a hollow outer body (3) and an axial support (65,67) onto the driving element.
