Abstract

The invention relates to a method for reducing the troughing effect of corrugated cardboard during manufacture of a continuous strip (web) of corrugated cardboard (20) including at least one flute (channel) (7) and at least one cover (1, 15). According to the invention, at least one cover (1, 15) of the cardboard is treated before its assembly with a flute (7) via at least one differential inductive heating in the crosswise direction, of a surface (5, 18) in contact with which the cover passes.
