Abstract

The packing carton is fitted with reinforced corners made by folding excess material over to one side. The corners have a central cut out (5) fitted with re-inforcing tabs so that a horizontal support band (7) may be wrapped around the container without falling off. The top of the container has a perforated central section allowing easy opening and two reinforced end strips (44) and (45) which are used as carrying handles.
