Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques de récupération des métaux. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type prévoyant un concassage de ces déchets, une séparation des parties de dimensions relativement grandes en plomb métal et des matières contenant des substances organiques avec du chlore, d'avec la partie sulfate-oxyde des déchets contenant des composés de plomb, et d'avec les boîtiers des accumulateurs, constitués de substances organiques, suivie d'une fusion et d'une réduction des composés de plomb jusqu'au plomb métal, ainsi qu'une fusion desdites parties de grandes dimensions en plomb métal, et est caractérisé en ce que, avant la fusion, la partie sulfate-oxyde des déchets et les boîtiers des accumulateurs sont broyés et sont soumis conjointement à une fusion dans une atmosphère oxydante à une température de 1 300 à 1 500 degrés C, jusqu'à obtention d'un bain d'oxydes, et l'oxyde de plomb se trouvant dans ce bain est réduit jusqu'au plomb métal. L'invention peut être appliquee avec une efficacité maximale à l'élaboration du plomb par voie pyrométallurgique.
