Abstract

The spinner has a distributor plate rotatable around a vertical axis and having blades for spreading fertiliser. A hopper is disposed vertically above the plate. Near the bottom of the hopper is provided two orifices whose opening can be adjusted by slide valves. The orifices discharge to the plate fertilizer which accumulates at the bottom of the hopper and on its outer wall. A deflector is fitted above the orificeS. The central part of the plate tapers upwardly and its peripheral part tapers downwardly.
