Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention d'alliages de manganèse à moyenne teneur en carbone Du ferro-manganèse carburé, liquide, est placé dans un réacteur muni d'un couvercle étanche ou place dans une enceinte étanche. On souffle de l'oxygène mélangé avec un gaz régulateur thermique tel que CO2 , air, azote, argon, vapeur d'eau. En contrôlant l'évacuation des effluents gazeux, on règle la pression dans le réacteur entre 1,5 et 15 bars, de façon à éviter la volatilisation du manganèse. Application à l'obtention de ferre-manganèse affiné, à 0,5-2 % de carbone, destiné à la sidérurgie.
