Abstract

The seed drill comprises a frame supported on wheels with a transverse horizontal seed hopper. The machine is fitted with driven metering mechanisms delivering the seed via tubes to the drill shares. At right angles to the travel direction the width of the frame and the hopper is up to the max allowed for farm vehicles when travelling on public roads. The land wheels are situated inboard of the outer frame and hopper edges and in front of the drill shares.
