Abstract

The plastic swimming pool cover is rolled up by means of a shaft, which is motor driven or manually operated, to the end of which is attached a nylon strap which sets the reel (1) rotating and the different parts fixed to it; viz:-the support (2), aluminium tube (3), second support (4) and the support piece (16) positioned at the inner end of the stainless steel shaft. These parts rotate at one end with the axle (10) on the roller bearing (7) which is positioned on an angle-piece (15). A spring (6) rotates because of one end fixed (11) to the support (4). The other end is attached to the fixed shaft (5). On the fixed shaft is positioned the spring inside the aluminium tube.
