Abstract

The cutter head fits onto an electric shaver so as to allow the user to cut his own hair, having a housing forming a hand grip and a mounting for the comb and cutter, and also accommodating the drive mechanism in the form of the shaver head. The leading edge of the cutter is parallel to the housing centre line. On the comb plate (11) of the head (1) a frame (4) is mounted, forming a sliding support preventing tilting of the cutter head, on the surface of the user's head. The frame has a number of legs, each joined at one end to a base portion, and forming the teeth of a steeply inclined advance comb.
