Abstract

Multipurpose packaging comprising double walled plastic bags which can receive injections of foam generating liquid between the walls to form padded walls surrounding shaped pockets for holding the bag contents. The bags may be made by applying a 180 degrees twist to a length of tubular film, superimposing the two pockets of tubing adjacent to the twist, and welding the pockets together along or close to their edges to form one double walled bag. The bags may be used with empty walls to contain and move articles during mfr., etc. The bag is converted to a package with integral foam padded walls for transport/storage/display of finished goods as appropriate.
