Abstract
La présente invention est relative, en particulier, aux scories basiques provenant de l'élaboration de l'acier. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que : pendant une brève partie de l'opération, on maintient une atmosphère très réductrice, après la réduction des oxydes métalliques, on ajoute de la chaux, au cours de la majeure partie de l'opération, on chauffe le bain de scorie pour soutenir l'activité réactionnelle des éléments (alumine, silice, réducteur, chaux) ajoutés à cette scorie, lesdits matériaux solides tels que porteurs d'alumine, de silice, réducteurs et chaux étant ajoutés de préférence sous forme pulvérulente, et avantageusement après mise en suspension dans un gaz. Application à la valorisation de scories de l'affinage de la fonte non phosphoreuse.
