Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un gilet pare-balles. Un gilet selon l'invention comprend un matelas formé de couches superposées de tissu de fibres synthétiques à haute résistance, ce matelas étant coupé d'une seule pièce couvrant à la fois le dos II et le devant I du corps, les couches superposées étant reliées ensemble par des piqûres ABCD, A'B'C'D' situées seulement le long des lignes d'épaules et d'encolure. De préférence, le gilet comprend une enveloppe protégeant le matelas et portant seule les moyens d'agrafage. Application à la protection des personnes.
