Abstract

L'invention concerne la métallurgie. Le mélange scorifiant faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type contenant un composant alumineux, du nitrate de sodium, de l'oxyde de calcium, du spath fluor, et est caractérisé en ce que, en plus des composants récités, il contient du minerai de fer ou la calamine. Le mélange en question peut contenir (% en poids) : composant alumineux 8 à 20, nitrate de sodium (par exemple salpêtre du Chili) 15 à 25, spath fluor 5 à 17, minerai de fer ou calamine 10 à 45, oxyde de calcium le reste. L'invention peut être utilisée pour l'affinage hors four de métaux tels que, notamment, la fonte, en vue d'en éliminer les impuretés nocives (soufre, phosphore).
