Abstract

L'invention concerne la métallurgie des non ferreux. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est du type comprenant une transformation en deux étapes successives, au cours de la première desquelles on met en fusion la matière première, tandis qu'au cours de la deuxième étape on la soumet à un traitement réducteur et est caractérisé en ce que ladite fusion de la matière première est effectuée sous atmosphère de gaz contenant de l'oxygène libre, tandis que le traitement réducteur du bain de fusion obtenu est réalisé à l'aide d'une torche 9 de plasma de gaz à une température de 4 000 à 5 000 degrés C, la température à la surface du bain de fusion étant maintenue entre 1 500 et 1 600 degrés C. L'invention s'applique notamment à la transformation de concentrés cuivre-zinc et cuivre-plomb-zinc, de scories zincifères et plombifères, etc.
