Abstract

Procédé d'extraction du zinc contenu dans les déchets sidérurgiques, consistant à préchauffer ces produits à l'étape 1, à les traiter par un agent réducteur, préchauffé en 4, contenant CO et/ou H2 et les formes oxydées de ces composés à l'étape 2 en choisissant la température et les rapports des teneurs en forme réductrice et en forme oxydée du mélange réducteur de manière à réduire sélectivement l'oxyde de zinc et les refroidir à l'étape 3, à l'aide d'un courant gazeux, une fois la réduction de l'oxyde de zinc achevée.
