Abstract
Electrodes pour électrolyses de sels métalliques fondus ou de solutions salines aqueuses. Ces électrodes consistent en un corps cohérent de poudres frittées dont le composant principal est l'oxyde d'yttrium et comprenant en outre au moins une substance conductrice de l'électricité, ledit corps cohérent portant, sur une partie au moins de sa surface au moins un électrocatalyseur. Les électrodes selon l'invention présentent une usure réduite dans les bains de sels fondus.Electrodes for electrolysis of molten metal salts or aqueous saline solutions. These electrodes consist of a coherent body of sintered powders, the main component of which is yttrium oxide and further comprising at least one electrically conductive substance, said coherent body bearing, on at least part of its surface an electrocatalyst.
