Abstract

L'invention décrit l'obtention de compositions stabilisées de fluides pour le travail des métaux. Les compositions contiennent une dispersion d'huile et d'eau, un agent d'émulsionnement (anionique et/ou non ionique) conférant de l'électronégativité à la phase huileuse de la dispersion et, comme stabilisant, un ion de métal multivalent lié par coordination à l'agent électronégatif d'émulsionnement et qui a été introduit sous forme d'un complexe d'un ion de métal et d'un ligand organique polyfonctionnel (par exemple du monocuivre (II)-citrate disodique). Ce complexe peut, entre pH 7 et 9, libérer des cations de métal pour stabiliser l'émulsion et en empêcher la dégradation On peut ainsi prolonger très notablement la durée de service des fluides d'arrosage pour le travail mécanique des métaux.
