Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé perfectionné pour séparer des saccharides par chromatographie d'exclusion. On introduit dans une zone de chromatographie d'exclusion moléculaire un mélange de saccharides; on retire au moins 3 fractions. La 1**re fraction contient les saccharides les moins diffusibles (généralement à masse moléculaire la plus élevée); la 2**e fraction contient surtout des saccharides à masse moléculaire intermédiaire et la 3** e fraction contient surtout des saccharides à faible masse moléculaire. On élue continuellement la zone tout d'abord avec la première fraction retirée de la colonne puis par élution à l'eau L'utilisation de la première fraction provenant de la colonne comme solvant d'élution permet de réduire à son minimum la quantité d'eau servant pour l'élution. Les divers sucres ainsi obtenus peuvent servir à préparer des produits alimentaires, comme support d'agent synthétique d'édulcoration, comme additif pour produire de l'extrait de thé ou de café par séchage par atomisation, etc
