Abstract

Roller has an inner core surrounded by an elastomeric layer and an outer shell consisting of a non woven mat bonded with thermosetting resin and having a tensile strength greater than 5 lbs/in. Pref. the outer surface is grooved and the elastomeric layer has pores or grooves to provide resiliency. The non-woven mat is pref. acrylic material and the resin is epoxy.
