Abstract
Hammaslääketieteelliseen tai leuan ortopediseen diagnostiikkaan tarkoitetussa oikaistujen röntgenkuvien valmistusmenetelmässä röntgenlähde (28) sijoitetaan potilaan (36) suuonteloon (34). Röntgendetektori (32) sijoitetaan siten, että se potilaalla (36) ympäröi ulkoapäin vähintään yhtä leukaluiden alueen osaa. Tämän jälkeen potilaan (36) hampaat läpivalaistaan röntgensäteillä, jolloin röntgendetektoriin (32) osuva röntgensäteily siepataan. Röntgendetektorin sieppaaman röntgensäteilyn perusteella tuotetaan digitaalinen röntgenkuva. Keksinnön mukaisesti koordinaatit usealle hampaissa (38) olevalle mittauspisteelle mitataan mittauskojeiston avulla (50; 64; 73; 50a-50d; 106a, 106b, 66a, 66b; 110a, 110b; 130). Digitaalinen röntgenkuva oikaistaan lopuksi käyttämällä näitä koordinaatteja.
