Abstract

Keksintö koskee menetelmää galakto-oligosakkarideja sisältävien maitotuotteiden valmistamiseksi, joilla osana säännöllistä ruokavaliota on edullisia fysiologisia vaikutuksia, ja siten ne pystyvät edistämään paksusuolen terveyttä ja parantamaan ruoansulatuskanavan toimintaa. Keksintö koskee myös tällaisen tuotteen käyttöä sellaisenaan, kun tuotteella on laksatiivista tai bifidogeenistä vaikutusta, tai käyttöä prebioottisena ainesosana funktionaalisten elintarvikkeiden valmistuksessa.
