Abstract

A work-holding device (3), which can be transported through the blasting chamber (1) by means of an overhead conveyor (2), is rotatable about a first horizontally arranged axis of rotation (5) and about a second axis of rotation (6) arranged at right angles thereto, the second axis of rotation (6) rotating about the first axis of rotation. The workpiece (14) is held in a cage (13) and rotates about both these axes (5) and (6) during the blasting treatment and subsequently for emptying the hollow spaces.
