Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una inserción oftálmica mediante un procedimiento de moldeado por inyección, que comprende las etapas de: a) calentar, en un recipiente equipado con un pistón móvil y en un extremo una abertura y un estator y un rotor, ser calienta un polímero en polvo soluble en agua por encima de su temperatura de fusión hasta que todo el polvo de polímero se haya fundido y comience a fluir; b) hacer la mesa fundida de polímero se introduzca en un molde bajo la acción de presión creada por el movimiento de dicho pistón y el efecto de extrusión de fusión elástico provocado por el movimiento de dicho rotor; y c) separar la forma moldeada y cortarla en inserciones oftálmicas que tienen un área de superficie de alrededor de 5 a 800 mm2, una longitud de alrededor de 1 a 30 mm, y un ancho y altura de alrededor de 0,2 mm a 30 mm.
