Abstract

The invention relates to a container arrangement according to claim 1.

A stackable container with boxes for transporting and storing objects is clear from DE 202009011787 U1. The side walls of this container are made up of longitudinal and transverse slats. The container bottom is made of multilayer plywood. Timber slats, extending in the longitudinal direction of the container, offset from the bottom edge, which engage the opening of a container located below in the stack, serve as locking elements.

FR 2649073 A1 discloses a container with a divided bottom wall and continuous side walls. The wire stirrups protruding from the front side walls serve for reciprocal horizontal locking of such stacked containers.

Document CH 282906 A describes a container with a bottom wall, which has a peripheral edge step, with which the container can be placed on the opening edge of containers arranged in a stack below the container.

DE 1837557 U discloses a transport container with appropriate side walls. Such containers can be stacked without problems during the return transport of the emptied transport containers. Document FR 1210384 A describes boxes for the transport and for the sale of fruits and vegetables, which can be made of different materials and can be stacked, where the tabs arranged in four corners of the container, aligned with the side walls protrude down, to engage the stack in outwardly stepping steps at the top edge of the container walls of a box stacked below. US 2,936,929 A describes stackable containers, the side walls of which have a peripheral sheet metal plinth, chamfered inwards. Between the chamfering and the lower edge of the side walls extending from the plinth, a container bottom can be moved vertically, where from the container bottom surrounds an offset frame retracted from the side edges, through which they are horizontally locked between yes the containers during the application of the containers.

DE 201 06893 U1 describes a container arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1. As is known, after single use, disposable boxes to be removed have been widely accepted in the fruit and vegetable trade. Boxes most often made of thin veneer boards, attached to each other at little cost can be easily removed by recycling the material. The cost of maintenance and cleaning is advantageously avoided, as required by reusable container systems. Furthermore, the resulting toxicological requirements can be met without problems by such disposable systems.

However, certain problems arise from the parallel use of disposable and reusable boxes. This refers in particular to the close transportation between the goods warehouse and the sales space. The safe transport of disposable and reusable boxes together on a single pallet is hardly possible.

An arrangement of disposable and reusable boxes, which has the characteristics mentioned at the beginning, appears from document EP 2 168 882 A2. As locking elements, two tabs protrude downwards from the disposable box, aligned with respect to its side walls, respectively, which mesh into pockets correspondingly arranged in the two longitudinal walls of a reusable box.

By means of the present invention a new arrangement of containers of the type mentioned at the beginning is created, characterized in that the locking element is formed by a retracted offset slat with one longitudinal side and two front sides of the edge of the box bottom, glued with the box bottom, and because two of these locking slats are provided, which respectively extend in length along a narrow side of the box bottom and secure the box made of cardboard both in the direction of the sides narrow as well as longitudinal of the box bottom.

Thanks to the invention, the manageability of disposable boxes is improved in itself, as well as the possibilities of the joint use of reusable boxes in mixed stacks.

Advantageously by means of a similar locking element, which can be manufactured with little additional cost justifiable for such a disposable product, the stacking safety of the disposable box as such can be greatly increased and the disposable boxes can be stacked in a manner compatible with reusable boxes, so that it is possible to stack disposable boxes on top of each other not only from securely, but can be stably inserted into the stack according to the invention of reusable plastic boxes with little effort. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the locking element, that is, the locking strip forms a stop that grips the opening edge from behind. The locking slats can be attached during the manufacture of the disposable boxes with little additional cost on the bottom side.

Together with the two locking slats, the box made of cardboard can have cutouts for the engagement of the locking element at the opening edge of a next upper box in the stack, made of cardboard, where these cutouts comprise e.g. ex. a stepping edge open inward.

A box represented in fig. 1 for the transport and presentation of fruit and vegetables for sale comprises a bottom 1 and four side walls 2. The bottom 1 is made up of three veneer boards 3 in the exemplary embodiment shown. The side walls 2 respectively comprise two similar tables 4. Both between the bottom tables 3 and the side wall tables 4, intermediate spaces 5 and 6 are formed, through which ventilation of the merchandise stored in the box is ensured.

The side wall boards 4 of the vertical side walls 2 are held together respectively by vertical connecting strips 7, where in the example shown on the longitudinal sides four similar connecting strips 7 are provided on the narrow sides. As allowed to recognize fig. 2, in the container corners, respectively, two of the connecting strips 7 collide with each other on their longitudinal sides. Tables and connecting strips are held together by built-in clips 8.

On the underside visible in fig. 4b of the bottom 1 four locking strips 9 are arranged as a whole transverse to the longitudinal direction of the bottom boards 3. The two outer locking strips 9 extend a short distance from the respective narrow sides of the bottom 1, the ends of the Locking strips 9 do not respectively reach the entire length of the edge of the longitudinal side in question of the bottom 1.

The box described above can be stacked, where in the stack the boxes rest with the underside shown in fig. 1b on the edge of the container visible in the plan view of fig. 1st. 9 offset slats respectively retracted from the bottom edge they penetrate the interior space of the respective next lower box and form the stops for the side walls 2, which prevent the box from sliding on the next lower box. The distance where the locking slats 9 are offset from the bottom edges 1 corresponds approximately to the thickness of a table 4 plus the thickness of a connecting strip 7.

A box shown in fig. 3 differs from the box according to figs. 1 and 2 because instead of two connecting strips 7 vertical posts 10 with triangular cross section are arranged in the four box corners.

As allowed to recognize fig. 3b, the posts 10 do not fully reach the opening edge of the box. The same applies for vertical connecting strips 7.

The bottom of the box of fig. 3 corresponds to the bottom of the box in fig. 1 with the only difference that the locking slats 9 on the bottom bottom side respectively come close to the bottom edges. The respective distance corresponds approximately to the thickness of the tables 4 that form the side walls 2. From figs. 4 and 5 a box emerges that differs from the box in FIG. 3 because the side walls are respectively formed only by a table 4 that reaches the bottom 1. The vertical posts 10 provided in the corners of the box have stepped recesses 11 open towards the inside of the box at the upper end. In the stacked state of the boxes, the ends of the two outer locking strips 9 with their outer corners respectively penetrate into a similar recess 11 of a box located below and the upper box is thus locked on the box arranged below in the horizontal direction.

The two inner locking strips 9 of the boxes of fig. 1 to 5 can be used to stack the box on two boxes arranged next to each other, respectively having only half of the bottom surface under lock of the boxes in the horizontal direction.

From fig. 6 other possible designs emerge from the box bottom.

Fig. 6a shows a continuous box bottom, formed eg. ex. by a chipboard, which in the corners has triangular stepped recesses 12, the cross-section of which corresponds approximately to the cross-section of the triangular posts 10 described above. This bottom can be used in particular in the box described in fig. 4 and 5 instead of the background shown there.

Fig. 6b shows a bottom consisting of slats 13 and 14 that intersect. On the narrow sides of the bottom, the locking slats 9 extend in a third slat plane.

The bottom of fig. 6c corresponds to the background of fig. 6b, where in addition to two outer locking strips 9 two inner locking strips 9 are provided.

A background shown in fig. 5d presents tables 3 and slats 15 connecting the tables 3. In the longitudinal direction of the bottom, blocking slats 9 extend near their longitudinal edges, crossing the connection slats 15 in a third plane.

Figures 6e and f show bottoms with a continuous bottom board 16 and locking slats 9 extending in the transverse or longitudinal direction.

An example of embodiment shown in fig. 7 for a box with a continuous bottom 16 is made p. ex. plywood. Ventilation openings 17 and 18 are provided on the side walls 2, where the ventilation openings 18 additionally serve as handles. In the bottom corner areas on the bottom bottom side the wire stirrups 19 are fixed at a distance from the bottom perpendicular edges of each other.

By stacking such boxes, the wire stirrup 19 reaches the interior space of the next bottom box and strikes the interior sides of the side walls blocking the box on the next bottom box.

From a cutout shown in fig. 8a of cardboard material the box shown in fig. 8b in side view. The cut-out section 20 for the formation of the bottom 1 is connected at its four corners with sections 21 for the formation of the side walls 2, where the sections 2 on the narrow side respectively have 90 ° foldable triangular tabs 22. Folding tabs 23 are formed in the bottom section 20 in the corner areas, as well as in the center of the narrow sides, which protrude from the bottom 1 of the box.

By stacking a similar box, the projecting tabs 23 mesh into the interior space of the next lower box and form stops for the side walls of the next lower box, so that the box is horizontally locked on the next lower box.

A cutout shown in fig. 9 presents a bottom section 20 with sections 21 hanging on four sides and sections 21 'that connect with sections 21 for the formation of double-walled side walls of the box to be formed from the cutout. The tabs 23 provided in the corner areas of the bottom section 20 and protruding down from the bottom serve to lock the box in the stack.

A cutout shown in fig. 10 for the formation of a box differs from the cutout in fig. 8 because instead of the folded tabs 23 there are provided flaps 24 tilted obliquely downwards, the front edges of which form a locking stop.

Fig. 11a to 11d show other design possibilities of the bottom section 20. According to fig. 11a locking slats 9 provided with the bottom section 20 are provided which extend in the transverse direction and according to FIG.

11b locking slats 9 extending in the longitudinal direction, according to fig. 11c projecting feet 25. The bottom 20 of the embodiment of FIG. 11d is bonded with a layered structured plate 26 retracted from the bottom edges, whereby a bottom edge step 27 of the bottom 10 is formed.

In fig. 12 the aforementioned locking elements are reunited. Fig. 12a shows a strip according to the blocking strip 9, fig. 12b different forms of locking dowels and fig. 12c different forms of locking clips, which can form the wire stirrup 19 described by fig. 7. It is understood that the use of a wire stirrup is not limited to a continuous wooden bottom, but such stirrups also come into consideration in the case of a slatted bottom or cardboard bottom.

A blocking edge stepping, e.g. ex. the described edge step 27 of FIG. 11d, could be made on a cardboard material bottom by means of a peripheral stepped fold formed by stamping.

Claims (4)

1. Arrangement of containers with boxes open upwards, made of cardboard for the sole use for transport and / or for the presentation for sale of fruits or vegetables to be ventilated, where the arrangement of containers also includes reusable plastic boxes, the boxes made of cardboard are inserted in a stack of similar reusable boxes with horizontal locking by means of at least one locking element (9) and where the locking element (9) protrudes from the bottom side of the box bottom (1) of the manufactured boxes of cardboard, in order to engage the stack in the next lower box and secure the box made of cardboard against horizontal displacement on the next lower box, characterized because the locking element is formed by a retracted offset slat (9) with one longitudinal side and two front sides of the edge of the box bottom (1), glued with the box bottom (1), and because two of these locking slats (9), respectively extending in length along a narrow side of the box bottom (1) and securing the box made of cardboard both in the direction of the narrow and longitudinal sides of the bottom box (1). 2. Container arrangement according to claim 1, characterized in that each locking strip (9) forms a stop that grips the opening edge of the next lower box in the pile from behind. 3. Container arrangement according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the box made of cardboard has at the opening edge a recess (11) for the engagement of the locking strip (9) of a next upper box in the stack made of paperboard. 4.
