From DE 87 01 926 U1 a device is known for the operation from the technical point of view of the activation of the heating elements of cooking zones. The kitchen comprises a cooking surface with a quadrangular ceramic hob, as well as an indicator panel band, which is configured separately from the ceramic hob and whose front edge is connected to the hob. The indicator panel band is configured transparently and light emitting diodes can be arranged under it. The vitroceramics sheet and the indicator panel band are surrounded by a frame, the vitroceramics sheet and the indicator panel band can be sealed with respect to the frame and between them The indicator panel band extends beyond the dimensions of The ceramic hob. Moreover, from DE 103 12 449 A1 a kitchen with a cooktop is known, which has a hob cover plate. This only allows for relatively insufficient fixation and placement of the components between them, and very limited indication possibilities.

Apart from that, DE 196 12 621 C2 is known as a cooking hob with a glass or glass ceramic cooking surface. At least one built-in functional zone is arranged on the cooking surface, which can be glass or ceramic hob. This functional element is mounted by means of a heat-resistant, waterproof and permanent elastic joint in a recess of the flush cooking countertop with it. The joint can be configured as an elastic or rigid joint and for example it can also be a silicone rubber. In this way, the functional zone can also be stuck on the cooking surface. Indicator elements may be arranged below the functional zone, whereby the functional zone then serves as an indicator surface and is preferably configured from a transparent, non-tinted glass or plastic. By arranging the functional zone within the cooking surface this functional zone occupies relatively much space and therefore minimizes the possible space for other components or areas of the cooking hob. Apart from that, the possibility of indicating this functional element or the functional zone is very limited in terms of different chromatic allocations of the indicator.

Vitroceramic cooking counters have, as a rule, red indicators, since the usual commercial ceramic hob only lets light in the red region of the spectrum. In this sense, the light in the yellow region of the spectrum is distorted so that the observer looks orange. All other colors are strongly attenuated or even completely absorbed, this is the case in particular in the blue region of the spectrum as well as for white light.

Cooking plates, which are formed by a light permeable material in the blue region of the spectrum, are known from EP 1 505 354 A1 and EP 1 465 460 A1.

Apart from that, by WO 2008/042805 A published later, an indicator device for a cooking appliance is known, in which specific information is indicated. In this case a blue light can also be indicated.

The objective of the present invention is to create an insert, which enables a more flexible representation of information. This objective is solved by means of an insert, which presents the characteristics according to claim 1.

An insert according to the invention for a cooking hob is formed by a light permeable material. The insert is permeable to light in the blue region of the spectrum. By means of such a configuration, an improved and more flexible chromatic representation of indicators and the like can be achieved, in comparison with an insert formed only by ceramic hob.

The insert has a light-permeable black coating on its back side in the blue region of the spectrum. By means of such a configuration, an adjacent placement of the insert with respect to a hob in the hob can be made possible, and the general visual impression transmitted as if the insert and the hob were of the same material. Therefore, an indicator and / or management zone integrated in the cooking surface can be improved in terms of chromatic representation and thus the easiest recognition for a user. This can be achieved through the insert and the components arranged under it, in particular electronics and light sources.

The coating can be configured as a laminate or as an impression. Preferably, at least one symbol and / or a scale is applied to the rear side of the insert. This application can also be implemented as a sheet or as an impression.

Preferably, at least one centering element is configured on the rear side of the insert, which is configured for relative placement with respect to an additional component of the cooking hob, in particular an indicator unit and / or a light source. In this way, a very precise placement between the components can be made possible, which guarantees a particularly precise backlight of specific surface areas of the insert. In this way, a blurred backlight and an image perceived as blurred as a result or a blurred optical indication can be avoided.

Preferably, the insert is configured as a trapezoid. In particular, the insert is designed for lateral edge insertion in a cooking hob.

In figure 1 a cooking hob 1 is shown in a plan view, which has a cooking surface 2 of ceramic hob 3. However, as the insert 5 is placed as far out as possible and therefore in the lateral edge cutout 4, the remaining cooking surface 2 is not limited in its dimensions and therefore the functionality is not altered, in particular also in as for the dimensioning and arrangement of the cooking zones, by the position of the insert 5.

In the exemplary embodiment, the insert 5 is formed by gray glass and among other things is permeable to light in the blue region of the spectrum, in particular translucent. The insert 5 is arranged spacedly and without contact with respect to the hob 3 in the cutout 4. An interstitium 8 configured between the insert 5 and the hob 3 has a width b1, which in the embodiment example amounts to approximately 4 mm .

The insert 5 is joined by two different adhesives with the ceramic hob 3 in the cutout 4. On the one hand, it is provided for this that a fixation is provided by means of a UV adhesive configured in a uniquely punctual manner, on the other hand an additional 10 silicone adhesive. This is configured as a cord and extends over the entire length of the cutout 4 between the ceramic hob 3 and the insert 5. The UV adhesive is only implemented by the points 9a, 9b, 9c and 9d of adhesion.

Apart from that, this UV adhesive is also provided on the peripheral side for fixing an ornament frame 12 with the ceramic hob 3 and the insert 5, the points 9e, 9f, 9g, 9h, 9i, 9j being characterized in this respect , 9k, 9l and 9m of adhesion. Both the location of these 9e to 9m adhesion points, as well as the number of adhesion points on each side of the penimeter's edge are only by way of example. Preferably, on each of the edge sides of the penimeter several adhesion points of this type are configured.

Apart from the ornament frame 12 configured on the peripheral side, the gap 8 is also covered in the cutout 4 by an ornament frame 13 in the case of an observation from above and therefore in the case of the plan view according to Figure 1 Preferably, the ornament frame 12 and the ornament frame 13 are configured to form a single piece, and form the entire ornament frame 11.

The ornament frame 13 has a width b2, which in the embodiment example amounts to 15 mm.

Apart from the ornament frame 11, the cooking countertop 1 also comprises a mounting frame 14 (Figure 2), which is attached on the peripheral side with the ornament frame 11 in particular with the ornament frame 12. Between the decoration frame 11 and the mounting frame 14, the ceramic hob 3 and the insert 5 are arranged or fitted and are stably maintained with respect to their position.

On the rear side of the insert 5, in the exemplary embodiment, two centering elements 15 and 16 are arranged, which extend as a downward bar. The centering elements 15 and 16 engage in the assembled state of the cooking hob 1 in recesses of the control electronics plate arranged below them, whereby an exact placement between the insert 5 and the unit is given Indicator and / or light sources. In this way, the light emitted by the light sources and the indicating unit can pass very precisely in the desired specific positions through the insert 5 and guarantee a specific position backlight.

Figure 4 shows a side view of the insert 5 according to the representation in Figure 3. On the rear side 18, a black coating 21 is applied separately from the impression with the scale 22 and the zones 23 to 26 on the remaining surface. which can be implemented as a sheet or in particular as an impression. This coating 21 does not alter the light permeability of the blue region of the spectrum.

For the manufacture of the cooking countertop 1 according to the representation in figure 1, the decoration frame 12, 13 is inverted first and therefore the upper side is oriented downwards on a mounting device. Then, the ceramic hob 3 already provided with the cutout 4 is then inverted equally and with its upper side shown in the figure 1 facing downwards, it is introduced into this ornament frame 12, 13. Correspondingly, the insertion of the insert 5 into the ornament frame 12, 13 is continued, so that also in this case the upper side or front side 17 is then arranged pointing down. At a later manufacturing stage, the UV spot adhesive is then introduced, as shown by way of example in the corresponding points 9a to 9m of adhesion. In particular, several adhesion points are implemented on the peripheral sides on each side. After curing of the UV adhesive, the silicone adhesive 10 is then introduced as a cord in the gap 8.
