Abstract
Un dispositivo de fotodepilación (1), que comprende: un alojamiento manual (10) con al menos una abertura de ventana de salida de luz (11); un medio de generación de luz pulsada intensa de banda ancha (20) incorporado en el alojamiento para generar luz de alta intensidad en un intervalo espectral amplio adecuado para llevar a cabo la fotodepilación; un dispositivo de control (70) para activar el medio de generación de luz (20); un mecanismo activador de pulsos manejado por el usuario; en el que el dispositivo de control está adaptado para controlar el medio de generación de luz para encender el medio de generación de luz en breves pulsos que tienen una duración de pulso en el intervalo comprendido entre 1,1 ms y 1,9 ms, preferiblemente de 1,8 ms aproximadamente; y en el que el dispositivo de control está adaptado para controlar el medio de generación de luz de manera que la fluencia al nivel de la piel esté en un intervalo comprendido entre 2 y 7 J/cm2 por pulso; caracterizado porque el dispositivo de control responde al mecanismo activador de pulsos manejado por el usuario para controlar el medio de generación de luz para generar un pulso individual.
