Abstract

Ashtray with a suction system for reducing the inhalation of tobacco smoke (fumes) and polluted atmospheres at the same time as achieving recycling of the environment. In addition, the accumulation of ash, cigarette ends (stubs), etc. is avoided. The system comprises: ashtray, conduit, receptacle and motor. Applicable to any type of means of locomotion, such as cars, coaches, trains, aircraft, etc., and also for public premises and homes. It should be pointed out that the shape or design of the ashtrays may vary widely. It should be highlighted that this system has a further application to be taken into account and this consists in that, when removing the ashtray or rear cover thereof, the suction mouth or hole is visible and in this there would be a fastening to which a hose would be fitted, thereby achieving a conventional vacuum cleaner. A motor, with a variety of speeds, may be fitted to this system.
