LA INVENCION TRATA DE UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA RECUPERACION DE ACIDO SULFURICO A PARTIR DE PRODUCTOS QUE CONTIENEN AZUFRE, QUE SE FORMAN EN PROCESOS PARA LA OBTENCION DEL ACIDO 2 HIDROXI - 4 - METILTIOBUTILICO (MHA), TENIENDO EL ACIDO SULFURICO UNA CALIDAD, QUE SE PUEDE VOLVER A UTILIZAR DIRECTAMENTE EN TALES COMPUESTOS. PARA ESTE OBJETO SE LLEVA GAS DE COMBUSTION QUE CONTIENE SO 2 A TRAVES DE UNA DISOLUCION DE H 2 O SUB,2 ACIDA DE AZUFRE, EN LA CUAL EL SO 2 SE OXIDA PARA DAR ACIDO SULFURICO.
