Abstract
Procedimiento para el tratamiento térmico de residuos que contienen metales pesados y óxidos de hierro, en un horno de pisos, el cual presenta varios pisos superpuestos, en el cual residuos que contienen metales pesados y óxidos de hierro se introducen de forma continua en el horno de pisos, se depositan en el piso superior y, poco a poco, se transfieren a los pisos inferiores, se incorporan agentes reductores en el piso superior y/o en alguno de los pisos dispuestos debajo y reaccionan con los residuos que contienen metales pesados y óxidos de hierro para formar metales pesados y hierro reducido directamente, los gases que contienen metales pesados se aspiran por separado en los pisos en los que se evaporan los metales pesados, y el hierro, junto con los residuos de los agentes reductores, se sustraen en la zona del piso inferior del horno de pisos, aspirándose los gases del horno de pisos, por debajo de los pisos sobre los cualesse evaporan los metales pesados y, a continuación, volviendo a insuflarlos total o parcialmente en el horno de pisos, por encima de estos pisos.
