Abstract
Recipiente metalúrgico con una base y un equipo de corriente continua de arco voltaico, cuyo cátodo penetra en el recipiente y en cuyo revestimiento refractario de la base se dispone un ánodo como mínimo que por un extremo atraviesa la pared del recipiente tocando la masa fundida de metal que se encuentra dentro del recipiente, mientras que por el otro extremo está sujeto a la pared del recipiente mediante elementos de sujeción aislados eléctricamente y puede conectarse a fuentes de alimentación de refrigeración fluida, caracterizado porque, está previsto un casquillo (31) no conductor de la corriente eléctrica que envuelve la parte del ánodo (21) que penetra en el recipiente metalúrgico (11), creando a su vez un canal de evacuación (37) separado del ánodo (21) a cierta distancia (r), de manera que los metales de bajo punto de fusión pueden salir del recipiente (11) sin problemas.
