LA PRESENTE INVENCION SUMINISTRA UN PROCESO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE ACIDO ASPARTICO CRISTALINO QUE COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: A) REACCION DE UNA SOLUCION DE ALIMENTACION QUE CONTIENE ANIONES DE UN ACIDO DICARBOXILICO REACTIVO, EN LA QUE DICHO ACIDO REACTIVO ES TRANSFORMADO EN IONES ASPARTATO, PARA FORMAR UNA SOLUCION PRODUCTO QUE CONTIENE UNA SAL DE ASPARTATO DISOCIADA; B) ACIDULACION DE UNA SOLUCION DE DICHA SAL OBTENIDA EN LA ETAPA A) MEDIANTE LA PUESTA EN CONTACTO DE ESTA CON UN INTERCAMBIADOR DE CATIONES, POR MEDIO DEL CUAL LOS CATIONES DE DICHA SAL SON ADSORBIDOS Y LOS PROTONES SON LIBERADOS A LA SOLUCION; C) SEPARACION DE DICHA SOLUCION ACUOSA A PARTIR DE DICHO INTERCAMBIADOR CATIONICO; D) CRISTALIZACION DEL ACIDO ASPARTICO DE DICHA SOLUCION SEPARADA; E) REGENERACION DE DICHO INTERCAMBIADOR DE LA ETAPA B) PONIENDOLO EN CONTACTO CON UNA SOLUCION QUE COMPRENDE EL ACIDO REACTIVO O UNA SAL ACIDA DE DICHO ACIDO, POR MEDIO DE LA CUAL LOS PROTONES DE LA SOLUCION SON ADSORBIDOS POR DICHOINTERCAMBIADOR Y LOS CATIONES ADSORBIDOS EN B) SON LIBERADOS A LA SOLUCION; Y F) UTILIZACION DE LA SOLUCION OBTENIDA EN LA ETAPA E) COMO UN CONSTITUYENTE DE DICHA SOLUCION ALIMENTADA.
