SE PRODUCE COBRE NEGRO REFINADO A FUEGO, A PARTIR DE UN CONCENTRADO DE COBRE, MEDIANTE UN PROCEDIMIENTO QUE COMPRENDE: (A) FUNDIR Y OXIDAR EL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE EN UN HORNO DE FUSION (17) PRODUCIENDOSE MATA FUNDIDA Y ESCORIA, Y SEPARANDO UNA DE LA OTRA; (B) ELIMINAR LA MATA FUNDIDA DEL HORNO DE FUSION (17); (C) SOLIDIFICAR LA MATA FUNDIDA; (D) INYECTAR LA MATA SOLIDIFICADA EN UN HORNO DE CONVERSION (33), EN EL CUAL LA MATA SE CONVIERTE EN COBRE NEGRO Y ESCORIA; Y (E) TRANSFERIR EL COBRE NEGRO DESDE EL HORNO DE CONVERSION HASTA OTRO HORNO ANODICO (47A Y 47B), PRODUCIENDO COBRE NEGRO REFINADO A FUEGO.
