Abstract

"Proceso para la transformación de residuos orgánicos en abono orgánico y derivados y cría de lombrices", donde inicialmente se realiza una selección de fas diferentes fuentes de materia orgánica a degradar, la cual es triturada, si fuera necesario, para acondicionar el producto al tamaño adecuado y mezclada de forma que se consiga un determinado nivel proteínico entre los distintos residuos y desechos, posteriormente, la mezcla se airea y debe dejarse reposar durante un periodo de tres a seis meses, debiéndose controlar diferentes parámetros tales como el pH, la humedad, temperatura y la composición química y una vez pasado el periodo de reposo, se introduce en un depósito, cuna o tolva y se añaden lombrices, extendiéndose sobre el conjunto una tela mediasombra, y al cabo de aproximadamente seis meses, se separa el humus o lombricompuesto formado, sólido o líquido, disponiéndose en almacenes para su maduración, para posteriormente ser envasado y comercializado.
