LOS POLIMEROS DE LA INVENCION SE FORMAN A PARTIR DE UN PREPOLIMERO FUNCIONALIZADO EPOXI QUE TIENE SEGMENTOS DE POLIEPOXIDO Y EXTENSORES. CADA SEGMENTO EXTENSOR TIENE AL MENOS UN GRUPO DE CARBAMATO DE HIDROXIALQUILO PENDIENTE. EL PREPOLIMERO SE HACE REACCIONAR CON UN COMPUESTO DE AMINA QUE TENGA AL MENOS UN GRUPO DE AMINA PRIMARIA EN BLOQUE Y AL MENOS UN GRUPO EPOXIDO REACTIVO. EL GRUPO DE AMINA PRIMARIA ES DESBLOQUEADO Y EL POLIMERO RESULTANTE ES DISPERSADO EN AGUA CON LA AYUDA DE UN ACIDO DE NEUTRALIZACION.
