Abstract
SE PRESENTA UN METODO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE FERROSILICONA EN UN HORNO DE REACCION ELECTRICO, UTILIZANDO MATERIALES QUE CONTENGAN HIERRO, QUE CONTENGAN CUARZO Y CARBONACEOS. EL HORNO DE REDUCCION ES ALIMENTADO, ADEMAS DE CON LOS MATERIALES QUE CONTIENEN SI, CON AGLOMERADOS, QUE REEMPLAZAN AL MENOS UNA PARTE DEL MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE HIERRO. EL AGLOMERADO CONTIENE UNA MEZCLA SUBSTANCIALMENTE HOMOGENEA DE MATERIAL CARBONACEO Y UN COMPUESTO DE HIERRO REDUCIBLE, ALTERNATIVAMENTE HIERRO, MEDIANTE LO CUAL LA PROPORCION DE PESO ENTRE EL CARBONO Y EL HIERRO EN LOS AGLOMERADOS REDUCIDOS ESTA EN LA BANDA DE ENTRE 0.2:2.1 Y 1.5:1 EN BASE AL AGLOMERADO REDUCIDO. EL AGLOMERADO EFECTUA UNA ABSORCION DEL GAS DE SIO PRESENTE EN EL HORNO QUE NORMALMENTE SE PIERDE A TRAVES DE LOS GASES QUE SALEN DEL HORNO, INCREMENTANDO DE ESTA FORMA LA PRODUCCION DE SI Y HACIENDO DISMINUIR EL CONSUMO DE ENERGIA.
