Abstract

Mecanismo de pivotamiento de los planos de un somier abatible. El mecanismo ha sido concebido en orden a que, paralelamente a la basculación de un plano del somier, preferentemente el plano dorsal (4), se produzca un distanciamiento del mismo con respecto al plano lumbar y fijo (3), de manera que este distanciamiento entre ambos planos, que en la práctica constituye un "alargamiento" del somier, absorbe la tendencia al aplastamiento de colchón generada por la basculación ascendente del plano dorsal (4). Para ello al travesaño (10) del plano dorsal en correspondencia con el cual se produce la basculación del mismo, se fija, en cada lateral del somier, una biela intermedia (9) que por sus extremos (11) y (12) recibe articuladamente a otras dos bielas (13) y (14) unidas a su vez articuladamente en (15) y (16) al larguero correspondiente (1) del bastidor del somier, configurando con este último un cuadrilátero deformable que en la basculación del plano dorsal (4) provoca el pretendido distanciamiento de dicho plano con respecto al plano lumbar y fijo (3).
