Abstract

The locking system is operated by an electro-magnetic drive incorporating an electric motor (16) in each lock mechanism. The lock is operated by a lock lever (6) and by a release lever (4) linked to the release button. On the locked position the drive pulls a coupling lever (10) out of disengagement with the release button lever. - The locking action takes the servo drive past the normal point to the anti-theft setting. The release button is totally disengaged and cannot be used to force the lock. The levers are coupled together by simple ratchet grips and are disengaged by stops (8,9) which stop the movement of the lock and button release levers.
